We are now looking for a temporary healthcare administrator for the Healthcare Administrative Unit.

Within the Healthcare Administrative Unit, area of medical specialties, approximately 50 employees work at Karlstad Central Hospital. We have a broad competence across a large number of specialties and offer good opportunities for development through work in different operations.

The work is conducted in continuous 2-shifts with a weekly working time of 38.25 hours, but we staff all days from 07-22. Possibility for remote work exists as far as the operation allows.

Your tasks

As a healthcare administrator in the emergency department, you have an important and central role in the patient's care chain. The work is varied and takes place in close collaboration with other professional groups in the emergency department.

Your tasks will include:

• documentation in the journal system Cosmic,
• diagnosis classification,
• referral management,
• other healthcare administrative tasks.

In the emergency department, we work with many different specialties, which gives you a broad and valuable competence in the profession.

Your knowledge and competencies

We are looking for someone who is an educated healthcare administrator or medical secretary. You have very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, as well as in medical terminology.

You are responsible, flexible, and thrive in an environment with varying pace. At the same time, you have a structured work style that allows you to plan and organize your work effectively. You collaborate well with colleagues, contribute to a positive work climate, and you have a service-oriented approach where you always put the patient's needs in focus. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. It is an advantage if you have previously worked in an emergency department.
